Wirral Bikeathon 2018

Over 1100 riders took part in the 2018 Wirral Bikeathon

This year’s Bikeathon took place on Sunday 10th June 2018.  It was the 20th Wirral Bikeathon.  £45,000 was pledged on 10th June this year which would mean so far the event over the years has raised a total of £965,000. All the funds raised go to the charity 'Bloodwise'.  Bloodwise is the new name for the charity Leukeamia and Lymphoma Research.

All Downloadable Resources (info, sponsorship form, map of route etc) are at the bottom of page under FAQ .

                                                                                 ABOUT THE EVENT

The Wirral Bikeathon is a 14 or 28 mile ride around the Wirral.  Arrowe Country Park is the start, mid-point and finish area.  Riders, their families and friends enjoyed live music from the Peninsula Jazzmen and a return of the unforgettable Fair Organ on 10th June.  As well as all pre-registered riders being in with a chance to win a fabulous Boardman Bike, there is also a chance to win one month's free family membership of Total Fitness gym.

Bikes and Boards (West Kirby), The  Bike Shop (Moreton) and K-Cycles of Eastham continue to support us by providing free bike repair services in the park and at Dovepoint on the prom in Meols on the day of the ride. See below for the many other organizations who we also wish to thank profusely for their valuable support.
