Since the first Wirral LLR Bikeathon took place in 1999, the total raised for this valuable cause is now in excess of £680,000.
Congratulation and our thanks to all the riders and sponsors of the 2012 event who have helped to raise over £44,000.
WIRRAL BIKEATHON SUNDAY 9 JUNE 2013
Great news! The date of the 2013 Wirral Bikeathon - organised to raise money for the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research charity - has been confirmed as Sunday, 9th June 2013. So put it in your diary now! Entry fees will remain the same as 2012 prices so £10 for an adult (£20 if you enter on the day of the Bikeathon) and £5 for children under 16 years (same price if you enter on the day).
Can the 2013 Wirral Bikeathon top the £44,000 raised by riders and their supporters in 2012?
The Wirral Bikeathon is a charity bike ride through the Wirral to raise money by sponsorship to support Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.
This is a fun day out for individuals and families. Two routes of 14 and 28 miles are available: both start and finish in Arrowe Country Park. A T-shirt will be given to all entrants and a commemorative medal will be awarded to all who finish the ride.
If cycling isn't your thing, there are plenty of other ways you can get involed.
